Hi All of you great ramanons
Here is two kitchen chef knives i made. The shorter one is santoku type of blade i did from sandvik steel 61 hrc. perfect for allround and about 6,5 inch long blade. The handle i did from nice arctic flame birch and brass bolster. Overall length is 11.2 inch long and 3.6 mm thick blade steel. The other one is a real nice knife in the kitchen for slicing meat, fish or bred and so on. The blade is ss- steel and 8,5 inch long. Overall length is 13,5 inch long. The handle i made from beautiful arctic flame birch and brass bolster. I treated the handles with cyanoacrylat to be resistant to water and blood. Have a nice day and god bless where ever you are. /Kimmo Lilja ![]() ![]()

That santoku looks handy.
Is that a convex grind/edge? Lovely work,I bet you it will, slice and dice like a charm. ![]() Kevin
